Pressing Matters Accessibility Guide

At Pressing Matters, we aim to provide a welcoming experience for all guests. Please see our accessibility guide for assistance in planning your trip to our cellar door.

Arrival

  • We have dedicated accessible parking close to the cellar door entrance
  • The access to the cellar door is sealed and relatively level

Entrance

  • The cellar door entrance is step-free and the door has a width of 1 metre

Inside the Cellar Door

  • Open plan layout with a 1.5 metre wide thoroughfare suitable for mobility aids
  • Single level access throughout cellar door and patio
  • Flexible seating throughout, chairs and tables can be removed and repositioned as required
  • Patio access can be widened to 3 metres via bifold doors
  • Hard, polished concrete flooring throughout the main thoroughfare area

The Experience

  • All cellar door services including wine tastings, purchases, wine club sign-ups and payments are offered at the table allowing guests to remain seated throughout
  • Our team are happy to assist by carrying wine purchases to your vehicle
  • We can also offer shipping door to door if preferred

Accessible Amenities

  • An accessible toilet is available for guest use

Assistance Animals

  • Accredited assistance animals are welcome in the cellar door
  • We provide an outdoor water bowl station for dogs, which can be provided indoors on request
  • We can also provide shade for animals when choosing to sit outdoors

Sensory Experience

  • The cellar door is generally a calm environment with natural lighting and soft background music
  • During busy periods, noise levels may be higher
  • Outdoor seating is available as an alternative (weather-permitting)
